The ECOFORCE series combines decades of engineering experience with extensive applications knowledge. It's sophisticated technological features, it can be adapted to almost any machining task. Thanks to the outstanding drive power and cutting capacity, every one of our customised solutions delivers optimum precision, productivity and availability. With the ECOFORCE series, users can choose between complete, 5-side or 5-axis machining.
For applications in the aerospace industry, Scharmann can also configure the ECOFORCE with a vertical machine table. The vertical alignment ensures optimum chip removal when machining typical aircraft structural components and prevents repeated cutting of existing chips.

The ECOFORCE offers HSK-A 100 DIN 69893-1 / SK 50 and CAT 50 DIN 69871-1 as tool interfaces.
The ECOFORCE offers high power values of up to 63 kW (S1) and 4000 Nm (S1) torque.
Automatic change of head attachments like angular milling heads.
As control uses the ECOFORCE the Siemens 840D with Operate.
The facing head offers the possibility of boring and milling operations combined with turning operations in one set up. Boring and milling operations are possible with up to 4000 rpm, turning operations are possible with up to 300 rpm.
With the modular pick-up system automatic exchange of head attachments is possible.
The ECOFORCE offers different tool magazines like chain magazines with up to 80 pockets, tower magazins with up to 320 pockets and robot tool magazines with up to 199 pockets.
Pallet change systems offer higher flexibility for the production. The ECOFORCE uses the chain drive system. Machines can be combined to flexible manufacturing systems.
The ECOFORCE incorporates a series of five machine tables. The table groups are designed roller bearing and manufactured in house.
The ECOFORCE is designed with linear guides of preloaded roller elements. The defined pretension generates high rigidity and constant damping.
