CEO and Head of Regional Sales

Dr. Christian Walti

Dr. Christian Walti (1967, Swiss) has been CEO of the Starrag Group since June 2018 and was interim Head of Sales from July 2019 to 31 March 2020 (up to June 2019 Head of Regional Sales).

From 2012 to 2018 he was the Managing Director of Bosch Packaging Systems in Beringen, Switzerland. He was additionally responsible for the Horizontal Packaging Systems Food from 2017, a unit with five international production sites. His primary responsibilities were global product portfolio management, organizational optimization, expansion of key account business, implementation of Industry 4.0 and the general positioning of the company as a technology leader in its target areas of expertise. From 2005 to 2011, as a shareholder and director of Faes Finanz AG (Holding), he subsequently assumed the role of delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO of Faes AG in Wollerau, Switzerland, where he established the company's international acitivies, among other achievements. Previously he was a consultant at Capgemini Consulting AG, followed by management tasks at ABB Schweiz AG.

Christian Walti completed his studies in business administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) with a doctorate.



Gerold Brütsch

Gerold Brütsch(生于 1966 年,瑞士人)自 2000 年起担任斯达拉格集团首席财务官(CFO),自 2005 年起任职副首席执行官兼企业中心部主管。此前,Brütsch 先生曾先后担任一家国际机械制造公司的首席财务官以及毕马威会计事务所(KPMG)苏黎世和旧金山分部的审计员。Gerold Brütsch 毕业于圣加仑州经济与管理学院,于 1990 年获得工商管理学位。他还持有瑞士注册会计师及美国注册会计师证书。



Alexander Attenberger

Alexander Attenberger (1977, German) will be responsible for the Sales division of the Starrag Group from 1 April 2020.

He previously worked for the German Grob Group since 2013, first as a Head of Department and then as Division Manager of Sales of universal machines. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales Industrial Equipment at MAG IAS. Between 2007 and 2010, he worked for Deckel Maho Pfronten, first as the Head of Back Office Sales, then as Sales Director for horizontal machining centres. From 2003 to 2007, he was the Product Sales Manager Milling at DMG München Vertriebs und Service GmbH.

Alexander Attenberger is a Precision Engineering Master and an HWK (Chamber of Crafts) Business Economist.



Günther Eller

Günther Eller(生于 1960 年,德国人)自 2007 年起担任斯达拉格集团客户服务部主管。此前,他从 1986 年开始在欧瑞康(OC Oerlikon)的销售和客户服务部从事各种管理岗位的工作。2001 - 2006 年,他在公司的数据存储事业部的客户服务业务部门担任常务董事一职。1995 - 2001 年,他就任于销售和服务子公司常务董事,负责欧瑞康(OC Oerlikon)的工程业务;再早之前,他还在不同的销售和大客户管理岗位工作过。Günther Eller 拥有工程物理学学位。


Head of Business Ultra Precision Machining Centers

Jean-Daniel Isoz

Jean-Daniel Isoz (1959, Swiss) has been Head of the Business Unit Ultra Precision Machining Centers, which comprises the Bumotec and SIP product lines since 1 July 2019.

Previously, he was responsible for the market segments Luxury Goods, Micromechanics and Med Tech within the former Business Unit Precision Engineering since 2015. Before he was responsible for the former Business Unit 4 for the brand Bumotec in Sâles (Switzerland) and SIP in Geneva (Switzerland). Prior to that, he had served as CEO of SIP Société d’Instruments de Précision SA from 2006. After first working as sales manager for SIP from 2000 - 2002, he took over as CEO of Bula Machines until end-2005. Previously, he had acquired 15 years of experience in various management positions in production and customer services for Bobst SA in Lausanne, USA and Asia.

Mr. Isoz holds a degree in electrical engineering and has completed Finance and Marketing programs at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.


Head of Group Operations / Head of Business Unit Horizontal Machining Systems

Dr. Stefan Breu

Dr. Stefan Breu (1964, Swiss) joined Starrag Group on 1 May 2019 and has been Head of Group Operations of Starrag Group since 1 July 2019, responsible for supply chain management, strategic procurement, manufacturing and sub-assemblies and Head of Business Unit Horizontal Machining Systems, which comprises the Heckert, Scharmann and WMW product lines.

He previously served in various executive positions with Bosch Packaging Systems, Beringen/Switzerland (former SIG Division SIG Pack), where he was finally responsible for the entire unit's operations as General Manager. Between 2008 and 2016 he was Chief Operating Officer of Schleuniger Group and Head of Global Production and Supply Chain of SIG Combiblock Group. His earlier professional career included operational responsibility of SIKA’s China business and various executive positions in marketing, trading, sales and production at ATEL, where he ultimately served as Head of Group Operations and member of its Executive Board.

Stefan Breu holds a degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of St. Gallen. He also completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD Fontainebleau and the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University, USA.


Head Business Unit High Performance Systems

Dr. Bernhard Bringmann

Dr. Bernhard Bringmann (1977, Swiss and German) has been Head of the Business Unit High Performance Systems, which comprises the Starrag, Ecospeed and TTL product lines since 1 July 2019.

He has managed Starrag's factory in Rorschach since 2015, which belonged to the former Aerospace & Energy Business Unit, and was responsible for the Aero Engine and Power Turbine market segments and the centralized functions in the Aero Structure market segment. In 2014, he headed the then Business Unit 1 and was responsible for the Starrag brand in Rorschacherberg (Switzerland) and the TTL technology subsidiary in Haddenham (UK). Bernhard Bringmann joined Starrag in 2008 as head of test operations. From 2009, he was deputy head of R&D, from 2010, Starrag Group Chief Innovation Officer, and from 2012, he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Starrag Rorschacherberg. Prior to joining Starrag, he served as a research fellow at ETH Zurich.

Bernhard Bringmann holds a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy/USA.
