Martin Buyle

Martin Buyle (1974, Austrian) has been CEO of Starrag Group since 1 April 2023.

From 2020 to 2022 he was Managing Director of Starrag Technology GmbH, where he was responsible for the realignment of the Starrag Group's large machinery business and implemented the restructuring tasks. From 2014 to 2019, he was CEO of Orell Füssli AG, a listed industrial and trading group. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014 he was CEO and member, from 2013 Chairman of the Group Management of Jakob Müller AG, a world market leader in textile machinery manufacturing. From 2005 to 2009 he was Managing Director of Kramer Werke GmbH, responsible for R&D, production, purchasing, finance and administration. From 2002 to 2005 he was Senior Consultant Competence Center Engineered Products/High-Tech at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich. Before that, from 1997 to 2000, he was development engineer at MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH.

Markus Jäger

Markus Jäger is an internationally experienced finance professional with long-standing expertise in stock-listed industrial companies.

From 2019 to 2023, he was Rector and Executive Director of the University of Liechtenstein. Before that, he served in various finance management roles at VAT AG (2015 to 2019) and SFS Services AG (2008 to 2015) where he played a major role in the initial public offering process of both companies. From 2004 to 2007, Markus Jäger served as CFO at Briggs & Stratton AG and held various finance positions at Hilti AG, both in Liechtenstein and the United States.

He studied social and economic sciences at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and has continued his professional education at Thunderbird School of Global Management (US), University of Zurich, and IMD Lausanne.

Alexander Attenberger

Alexander Attenberger (1977, German) has been responsible for the Sales division of the Starrag Group since April 2020.

He previously worked for the German Grob Werke since 2013, first as a Head of Department and then as Division Manager of Sales of universal machines. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales Industrial Equipment at MAG IAS. Between 2007 and 2010, he worked for Deckel Maho Pfronten, first as the Head of Back Office Sales, then as Sales Director for horizontal machining centers. From 2003 to 2007, he was the Product Sales Manager Milling at DMG München Vertriebs und Service GmbH.

Alexander Attenberger is a Precision Engineering Master and an HWK (Chamber of Crafts) Business Economist.

Remo Heusi

Remo Heusi (1983, Swiss) has been responsible for the Service Division of the Starrag Group since 01.09.2025.

He previously worked for the Netstal Group since 2022 as Vice President Global Service and Executive Board Member. From 2007 to 2022, he worked for the Bühler Group and held various management positions including Head of Single Machine Business, Head of Business Development and Head of Quality and Sustainability.

Remo Heusi holds an electrical engineering degree in mechatronics and a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Administration. He continued his education at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and the Swiss Board School.

Fabrice Monti di Sopra

Fabrice Monti di Sopra (1971, Swiss) has been Head of Business Unit Precision Machining Centers, which comprises the Bumotec and SIP product lines since 01.11.2025.

Previously, he worked at GF Machining Solutions in Biel and Changzhou as Head of TU Milling and Head of Management from 2023. From 2019 to 2023, he was CTO and member of the Executive Board at Reishauer AG in Wallisellen. From 2015 to 2018, he was Managing Director at GF Machining Solutions in Luterbach. From 2012 to 2015, he was CTO of the Wafer Division at Meyer Burger. From 2010 to 2022, he was CTO, member of the Executive Board (2010-2012) and member of the Board of Directors (2012-2022) at Selfrag AG, Kerzers. From 2008 to 2010, he was Head of R&D at Rychiger AG, Steffisburg. From 2003 to 2008, he was Head of Department at Lasag AG, Thun, and from 1998 to 2002, he worked as a development engineer at Avalong Photonics Ltd., Zurich.

Fabrice Monti di Sopra holds a degree in physics from ETH Zurich and a doctorate from ETH Lausanne (Dr. es SC. Techn.). He continued his education at Keele University, England, and the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
