Dr. Christian Walti

Christian Walti (1967, Suisse) est CEO de Starrag Group et responsable des ventes régionales depuis le 1er juin 2018. De 2012 à 2018, il a dirigé Bosch Packaging Systems à Beringen, en Suisse. Il fut également responsable, dès 2017, de l'unité Horizontal Packaging Systems Food, une unité de Bosch Packaging Technology avec cinq sites de production internationaux. Ses principales responsabilités étaient la gestion du portefeuille mondial de produits, l'optimisation organisationnelle, l'expansion des activités des grands comptes, la mise en œuvre d'Industry 4.0 et le positionnement général de l'entreprise en tant que leader technologique dans ses domaines d'expertise. De 2005 à 2011, en tant qu'actionnaire et directeur de Faes Finanz AG (Holding), il a successivement assumé les fonctions de délégué du Conseil d'administration et de CEO de Faes AG à Wollerau en Suisse, où il a notamment établi les activités internationales de l'entreprise. Auparavant, il fut consultant chez Capgemini Consulting AG, puis membre de la direction d'ABB Schweiz AG. Christian Walti a fait ses études de gestion d'entreprise à l'Université de Saint-Gall (HSG), études terminées par un doctorat.

Gerold Brütsch

Gerold Brütsch (1966, de nationalité helvétique) a été directeur financier (DAF) du groupe Starrag depuis 2000 et directeur général adjoint et responsable du Corporate Center depuis 2005. Mr Brütsch a tout d'abord occupé le poste de directeur financier d'une entreprise de construction mécanique internationale et d'auditeur auprès de la société KPMG à Zurich et San Francisco. Gerold Brütsch est diplômé de l'École d'économie et d'administration des affaires de Saint-Gall et obtenu son diplôme en gestion d'administration en 1990. Il est expert-comptable diplômé en Suisse et expert-comptable assermenté aux États-Unis.

Günther Eller

Günther Eller (1960, de nationalité allemande) est à la tête de l'unité opérationnelle Customer Service du Starrag Group depuis 2007. Auparavant, il a occupé divers postes de direction auprès des unités de ventes et de services aux clients de la société OC Oerlikon dès 1986. De 2001 à 2006, il était directeur général de l'unité opérationnelle Customer Service de la division de stockage des données de la société. Il avait occupé le poste de directeur général d'une filiale de distribution et de services d'ingénierie commerciale de la société OC Oerlikon de 1995 à 2001. Et avant cela, il avait occupé divers postes de direction comptes de ventes et grands comptes. Günther Eller a obtenu un diplôme en génie physique.

Jean-Daniel Isoz

Jean-Daniel Isoz (1959, Swiss) has been Head of the Business Unit Ultra Precision Machining Centers, which comprises the Bumotec and SIP product lines since 1 July 2019.

Previously, he was responsible for the market segments Luxury Goods, Micromechanics and Med Tech within the former Business Unit Precision Engineering since 2015. Before he was responsible for the former Business Unit 4 for the brand Bumotec in Sâles (Switzerland) and SIP in Geneva (Switzerland). Prior to that, he had served as CEO of SIP Société d’Instruments de Précision SA from 2006. After first working as sales manager for SIP from 2000 - 2002, he took over as CEO of Bula Machines until end-2005. Previously, he had acquired 15 years of experience in various management positions in production and customer services for Bobst SA in Lausanne, USA and Asia. Mr. Isoz holds a degree in electrical engineering and has completed Finance and Marketing programs at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Dr. Stefan Breu

Dr. Stefan Breu (1964, Swiss) has been Head of Group Operations of Starrag Group since 1 July 2019, responsible for supply chain management, strategic procurement, manufacturing and sub-assemblies and interim Head of Business Unit Horizontal Machining Systems, which comprises the Heckert, Scharmann and WMW product lines.

He previously served since 2017 in various executive positions with Bosch Packaging Systems, Beringen/Switzerland (former SIG Division SIGpack), where as General Manager he was responsible for the entire unit's operations. From 2015 to 2016 he was Chief Operating Officer of Schleuniger Group. Prior to that he was Head of Global Production and Supply Chain of SIG Combiblock Group from 2008 to 2014. His earlier professional career included operational responsibility of SIKA’s China business (from 2005 to 2008) and various executive positions in marketing, trading, sales and production at ATEL (1995 bis 2005), where he ultimately served as Head of Group Operation and member of its Executive Board.
Stefan Breu holds a degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of St. Gallen. He also completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD Fontainebleau and the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University, USA.

Head Business Unit High Performance Systems

Dr. Bernhard Bringmann

Dr. Bernhard Bringmann (1977, Swiss and German) has been Head of the Business Unit High Performance Systems, which comprises the Starrag, Ecospeed and TTL product lines since 1 July 2019.
He has managed Starrag's factory in Rorschach since 2015, which belonged to the former Aerospace & Energy Business Unit, and was responsible for the Aero Engine and Power Turbine market segments and the centralized functions in the Aero Structure market segment. In 2014, he headed the then Business Unit 1 and was responsible for the Starrag brand in Rorschacherberg (Switzerland) and the TTL technology subsidiary in Haddenham (UK). 
Bernhard Bringmann joined Starrag in 2008 as head of test operations. From 2009, he was deputy head of R&D, from 2010, Starrag Group Chief Innovation Officer, and from 2012, he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Starrag Rorschacherberg. Prior to joining Starrag, he served as a research fellow at ETH Zurich.
Bernhard Bringmann holds a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy/USA.

Head of Business Unit Large Parts Machining Systems a.i.

Dr. Marcus Queins

Dr. Marcus Queins (1969, German) has been interim Head of Business Unit Large Parts Machining Systems since 1 July 2019, which comprises the Berthiez, Dörries and Droop+Rein product lines.
He has been working for Starrag in Mönchengladbach since 2005 and has held the position of Head of Technology since 2008. The interim management functions are to be filled in the near future.
Marcus Queins completed his mechanical engineering studies at RWTH Aachen University with a doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in specialization in design engineering. Already during his studies, Marcus Queins worked in the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University, most recently as chief engineer in the Department of Machine Technology and as authorized representative of WZL Aachen GmbH.
